Easter Weekend Complimentary Parking

6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 through 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, April 6

In observance of the Easter holiday, the City of Columbia will offer complimentary parking in all city parking decks beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, through 2:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026.

In addition to free deck parking, on-street parking throughout the city will also be complimentary during this time. Please note that normal parking enforcement on Saturday, April 4, 2026 will remain in effect in the Five Points and Bull Street districts from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The City encourages residents and visitors to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy Columbia’s local businesses, dining, and entertainment throughout the weekend.

Our Mission

The City of Columbia Parking Services Department provides citizens, businesses, and visitors with parking programs for on-street, garage, and lot parking; enforcement of parking regulations; assistance with neighborhood parking problems; and works with the City’s economic development offices to assist in providing parking for businesses.

The department has a  Customer Service Office in the Lincoln Street Garage located at 820 Washington Street, directly across from Police Headquarters and Municipal Court. The hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For questions about parking, please call (803) 545-4015 or e-mail ParkingServices@columbiasc.gov.

Days of Enforcement

  • Citywide parking enforcement 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
  • Five Points and Bull Street district enforced 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday (free after 7:00 p.m.)
  • Free Parking on Public Holidays! No on-street enforcement and parking deck gates will be raised on City of Columbia approved public holidays.
